Are you ready to help us get out the vote for registered Democrats in Seminole County? Then come join SemDems for our Weekend of Action as we kick off the month of May!
On Saturday, May 2nd, 9:45 - 12, we will launch our first weekend's canvass in Casselberry at the Truist Bank parking lot at 17-92.
Canvassing is empowering. We will pair novice canvassers with experienced canvassers. A canvasser has the opportunity to speak with voters and encourage them to participate. Though each of us has one vote, we can spend our time talking to people, most of whom — really and truly want to listen to what you have to say and be heard.
Canvassing is one of the most effective ways you, as an individual, can inform and turn out voters, especially in tight elections. Your efforts will go a long way toward ensuring our eligible voters plan to vote in our upcoming August Primary and November Midterms.
First time canvassing? No problem. You will be paired with an experienced canvasser for training.
Prefer not to walk? Don't worry! Drivers are also needed to help transport canvassers over longer distances, where necessary.
We suggest wearing comfortable clothes and shoes. Use sunscreen and a hat. Bring a snack and water.
Let's stay hydrated!
