Florida’s vote-by-mail rules have changed—and many Seminole County Democrats are no longer signed up to get a mail ballot in 2026. These are some of our most reliable voters—and unless we reach them, many could be left behind. Your quick, helpful conversations will make a real difference. You can make calls whenever it works for you–anytime between 9am-8pm on Mon-Sat, and 11am-7pm on Sun! Sign up to be sent all the details and begin making your calls. Training and support provided.

Join the SemDems Events Committee! Help plan & execute upcoming SemDems events and community outreach events. Where should the SemDems be visible? Be a part of the movement, make your voice heard, and let's get out there! We meet on the 1st Tuesday of each month from 8pm-9pm.

Do you enjoy helping people have a good time? We need hospitality volunteers for the SemDems general meetings. We need assistance setting up refreshments and greeting people at the check-in table at the front Lobby. If you are good at meeting and greeting, this is your volunteer location. We start setup at 6 pm and clean up after the meeting is over. Thanks for your help.

Because so many are concerned about what’s happening in the country and state, the Seminole County Party is now hosting local gatherings to make it easier to meet like-minded Democrats in a safe environment. At these meetings, we encourage you to share your thoughts, feelings, and opinions on our local community and the issues that affect you the most. The Northwest Seminole Dems is the newest local Democratic group, welcoming everyone interested in Democratic values. Each meeting will allow for group discussion, and we will also occasionally invite a guest speaker to attend. We will discuss what is going on and talk about action plans.

PC Organizer Training is designed for both newly elected and existing PC Captains. This is only for Seminole County Democratic Precinct Captains. Studies have shown that personalized volunteer calls can boost vote turnout.

SemDems just wanna have fun! Join your SemDem friends for a night of fun belting out your karaoke best! Enjoy hand-crafted, non-alcoholic drinks, meet and chat with great Dems, and sing some killer karaoke! The singing starts at 9pm and goes till 11pm-12am. If you've been thinking of getting involved with the SemDems or have a friend you think might want to get involved, this is a great way to to get plugged in and get to know some of our volunteers. Get ready to register voters in Seminole County! There are a lot of new rules for voter registration from the state of Florida, so we need to make sure we are all properly trained. Please join us to learn the specific processes for Seminole County. This training will be in person only. If you’ve already done the FDP training, thank you! If not, we will go over the information during the call, including forms to turn in. Voter registration is one of our most important initiatives to win elections. Precinct captains for SemDems are especially encouraged to attend. Come help us!

Volunteer to help the SemDems register voters at our information booth at Earth Fest in Casselberry. The 16th annual Earth Fest – the county’s largest environmentally friendly festival – is on Saturday, April 18, 10 am-3 pm at Lake Concord Park in Casselberry. We'll be there providing voter information, registering voters, updating vote-by-mail requests, getting candidate petitions signed, and encouraging people to get involved with the SemDems. There are 3 shifts available to make sure we cover the duration of the event. Feel free to sign up for more than one shift, though! We'll make sure you get breaks. The first shift will assist with set up, the middle shift is mostly running the booth, and the last shift will assist with helping pack up and clean up when the event is over. Please wear a SemDems shirt or blue and bring water/snacks as needed. If you don’t have a SemDems shirt and would like one for the event, visit the SemDems office during office hours and purchase one using the QR code. More details regarding parking etc will be emailed to you upon signing up. Thank you for helping us get Democrats elected in Seminole County!

We'll meet every 3rd Tuesday (beginning on 3/17) at 7pm for Trivia hosted by Dan the Man at Celery City Craft in Sanford. Enjoy craft beer from local Florida brewers, award-winning sushi by Sushi & Seoul, meet great people, and show off your trivia skills! Bingo is the warm-up, so don't be late! If you've been thinking of getting involved with the SemDems, this is a great way to to get plugged in and get to know some of our volunteers. We hope to see you there!

Join us at the next meeting of the Seminole Democrats with Disabilities Caucus in Seminole County. While all are welcome, membership Is exclusive to registered Democrats Whether you're a person with disabilities [visible or invisible], friend, loved one, caregiver, or simply an ally for accessibility, equity and inclusion; all are welcome to join! For full membership, for both the state and county caucus, we ask for an annual dues payment of 20 dollars. We look forward to seeing you soon!

Join the monthly meeting of the SemDems Environmental Advocates to discuss the latest environmental topics affecting Seminole County. We discuss eco-action, environmental education, and advocating for sustainable environmental policy that will benefit the people of Seminole County! We welcome everyone that is interested in protecting and conserving our environment, regardless of your political beliefs. It is in our nature to protect our nature. Come join Sem Dems for an afternoon of canvassing in Sanford on Sunday, April 26th, from 1:45-4:00 PM. Canvassers will meet first at Angel's Soul Food on French Avenue before heading out. First time and inexperienced canvassers will be paired with experienced canvassers, for training. Drivers are also needed to help transport canvassers between longer distances, where necessary. Canvassing is one of the most effective ways you, as an individual, can inform and turn out voters, especially in tight elections. Your efforts will go a long way in making sure our eligible voters make a plan to vote in our upcoming August and November elections. Be sure to wear your best walking shoes, warm weather clothes, and bring a bottle of water to stay hydrated!

Join your local Seminole County Democrats once a month in Winter Springs for Bingo Night! We'll meet every 4th Monday (beginning on 3/23) for Bingo at Lei Kava in Winter Springs starting at 8:30pm. Enjoy some hand-crafted, non-alcoholic drinks, meet great people, and test your luck! Winners of each round will win 1-2 house drinks. If you've been thinking of getting involved with the SemDems, this is a great way to to get plugged in and get to know some of our volunteers. We hope to see you there!

Meet with like-minded small business owners over a delicious craft beer at Hourglass Brewing in Longwood! We'll meet on the last Thursday of each month to network and support each other and our unique challenges and opportunities as small business owners in Seminole County. Aspiring and retired entrepreneurs are welcome, too! Our shared values and wisdom can help us all grow as professionals as well as individuals. This is a casual meet up that will end whenever everyone decides! Hourglass Brewing is a very accessible business with lots of space and a very chill atmosphere. It's family-friendly with some fun features kids love, such as pinball machines and more. Although Hourglass doesn't serve food, they do allow outside food to be brought in. Papa Bee's and Tainos are in their plaza and have really good food!

The SemDems need volunteers to help us at our information and voter registration booth at the Oviedo Farmer's Market on the first Saturday of each month. We'll be there providing voter information, registering voters, updating vote-by-mail requests, getting candidate petitions signed, and encouraging people to get involved with the SemDems. The event is from 9am-2pm, but we'll need a little time before and after the event to set up and take down our booth. There are 2 shifts available to make sure we cover the entire event. Feel free to sign up for more than one shift, though! Please wear a SemDems shirt or blue and bring water/snacks as needed. If you don’t have a SemDems shirt and would like one for the event, visit the SemDems office during office hours and purchase one using the QR code. Bring water, snacks, sunscreen, jackets, and whatever else you need to be comfortable for your shift(s). We'll have everything else you need including chairs. If you've not yet been through our voter registration training and you'd like to, please contact Cathy McCook at cathym.semdems@gmail.com. This is not required to volunteer to table with us, but is helpful.
